Textiles are evolving from beauty in use to beauty in art - art to turn to again and again. Art to last for centuries.

Sandra Reynolds

I began my weaving journey with hand towels, scarves, blankets, placemats, coasters, and napkins in 2009. I started with a 4 shaft floor loom, and progressed to an 8 shaft floor loom. My move to NYC included a 12 shaft countermarch loom, lightweight and quiet for apartment dwelling.

Eventually, I decided I loved the heft and weight of a heavy textile and I began my adventure into rug weaving using Harrisville Rug Looms. I weave my rugs with a shaft switching device which gives me the opportunity to create endless different designs and reversible patterns.

Now you can find me in weaving from my home studio in a small, rural town in Western Massachusetts, surrounded by forests, fields, streams and rolling hills. I find daily inspiration from the changing of the seasons and the gorgeous colors of nature outside my studio windows.

Weaving has become my passion and my outlet for creativity and expression.
